Chasing UFOs Part I

Update 3:

Got back from the conference after midnight. There were several good speakers today. One talked about the best equipment and APs to use to invite extraterrestrials and to take pictures. Another spoke of major coverups. A couple from San Diego gave me a good photo from last night's UFO visitors. We had several UFO visitors tonight as well. A lot more things took place. I'll make a new post at some point after I get a chance to go through all the information.

Update 2:

So far, the Conference is quite good. Information overload. Some really complicated stuff. We called on other lifeforms. A few objects appeared and disappeared.  Got in a few minutes ago because the conference goes past midnight. Will do another update Tomorrow when I get back. And once I'm home, I need to go through some notes before I do a second and perhaps third part.

Update 1:

Not a good day. A 2.5 hour ride took 3.5 in a bumper to bumper traffic to Carlsbad. I didn't even think that I was going to make it to the restaurant, but I did an hour before closing :( Staff were nice. Food was OK. I was in a bad mood. It took another 1.5 hour to Temecula. Excruciatingly hot earlier.A bit of a breeze now. UFO Conference will be starting soon. I just want this day to end.

I'm heading out to Temecula tomorrow to spend a weekend at a conference with Dr. Steven Greer regarding UFOs. We'll try to make contact with other lifeforms. So, if I go missing, you'll know that I've been abducted...kidding! It's completely safe. I will update this blog a few days after I get back.

Anyway, before I head out to the conference, I'll stop in Carlsbad around noon for lunch tomorrow at Beach Plum Kitchen. It has good ratings. So, why not? I was actually planning to get a hotel by the beach in Carlsbad, but the prices were too high for my budget. So, yeah. I'll be staying at a B&B in Temecula.

Another Birthday

It turns out that I'm not so special and unique after all. I have met many people who have the same birthday as me. I guess you could say that they were my long-lost twins until I met them. My roommate in college, my former personal trainer and his brother, the hostess who recently greeted me at a restaurant in the Marina, my sister-in-law’s cousin, and my cousin’s fiancé and his brother, were all born on the same day as me.

I’m guessing as I go through life, I will meet many more people with the same birthday. But alas, here I am going through yet another year. And not to sound morbid, but I am grateful for being alive. Many people much younger than me have passed away this year.

That’s why I want to live life to the fullest, and experience as much as I can. I know that there will be more offbeat days to come, but if I didn’t have days like that, I wouldn’t appreciate all the fantastic days. Anyhow, below are a few photos from one of my outings.

I arrived in the afternoon. Everyone had been waiting for me because my niece had put a note on this brownie that said - do not eat, but they all wanted to eat it (this reminded me of the episode of Three's company when Chrissy ate Jack's pie by accident). So, my brother rushed me to cut a piece so that he could get his piece. That is why you see a missing piece before I could take a photo. Ameh means auntie in Farsi.
A bunch of us went to The Landing in Westlake.

Timing and missed connections

Yes, this blog has been retired, but every now and then, when I'm in the mood to ramble, I'll be here.

Something great happened months after my third book came out. It was completely unexpected, and I wasn't ready for it. I'm still not ready for it.

In this digital age, we have so little privacy, and everything about us can be found online. Some of it has to do with the fact that we want to share everything. Maybe we want to show our authenticity and let the world know that we have similar struggles. This is all good and fine, but sometimes, I like to keep a few things private. These are things that I’m not even ready to share with a close friend or a family member while I’m trying to make sense out of them myself.

But I can’t keep everything bottled up inside. So I journal, and then shred what I write. I don’t want someone to find it.

I couldn’t sleep last night. I finally pushed myself out of bed at 5 a.m., and grabbed a notebook to journal. I was really surprised that I had missed discarding some of my thoughts from 2017-2018. As I paged through my past struggles, I realized that I have been making improvements in many areas of my life, but I still have some unresolved issues. I started to work on these challenges a few weeks ago, before I became aware of these forgotten pages. I guess that’s a good thing. It means that when I journal, my brain starts to work on doing some house cleaning. What I do have a problem with is why did it take this long to start resolving my other issues? Perhaps, what I should have done was to keep my pages for a few days, reread them, and make a list of things that I wanted to change.

And this brings me to this point – Timing. They say that Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. If you are not prepared, then you miss the opportunity. It’s best not to put things off and be ready for all the great experiences that the universe will bring. Life is all about timing. If the timing is off, then things will not work out, and we miss having an amazing experience 💔 But may be, just maybe when we are ready, our train will come back and lets us experience what we missed.
